The game had previously launched in South Korea and is now gearing up for global release with over 1 million Pre-registrations. You can pre-register now to get extra rewards in the form of Gold, Mystic Soulstone, and Crystals when Lord of Heroes launches in Q4 2020.

3. Genshin Impact by Mihoyo

Genshin Impact-Step into a Vast Magical World for Adventure

Genshin Impact is considered by many to be an anime version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Action RPG game looks highly promising, with amazing graphics and a beautiful, stylized open world to explore. What's even more baffling than the graphics is the fact that Genshin will feature cross platform play - across Playstation 4, PC and mobile.

With all its visual eye candy, it'll be extremely interesting to see how Genshin Impact will realistically play when it comes out on September 28th, 2020.

2. League of Legends: Wild Rift by Riot Games

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, League of Legends is a game you’ve probably heard a few times over the last decade. But did you know League of Legends was making a mobile adaptation? It should come as no surprise with Mobile MOBAS like Arena of Valor raking in $126m per month, understandably, Riot Games looking to enter as a very strong contender in the mobile MOBA space.

Wild Rift was announced last year with a release date of 2020. While this is a broad window of time, we are already entering Q4 of 2020. This makes it an exciting time to keep an eye out for any major announcements regarding LoL: Wild Rift.

1. Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment

Ah, Diablo Immortal, the MMOARPG that incurred the wrath of the fans at Blizzcon 2018 and pretty much the rest of the internet. Along with the fact that fans felt betrayed it wasn’t Diablo 4 being announced, the mere announcement of the game had managed to cause Activision-Blizzard’s stock to drop by 7% in just a day.

Even to this day, the game is attracting a lot of controversies, such as its atrociously long pre-registration on Google Play since its announcement in November 2018 - making it almost 2 years of a pre-registration sign up phase. So that begs the question, when will Blizzard finally release Diablo Immortal?

Although news of development has been sparse in the west, there are some clues hinting to an official release date announcement being just around the corner:

  1. Activision-Blizzard and Netease Inc just unveiled a new trailer at ChinaJoy, a huge annual conference in China. The trailer shows updated visuals, a remodeled Barbarian, and new gameplay footage.

  2. According to an official announcement from Activision-Blizzard, an early 2021 Blizzcon virtual event may be scheduled. This is where we can expect any kind of huge announcements regarding Blizzard’s projects, and likely, Diablo Immortal as well.

Whether you love it, hate it, or simply enjoy the chaos it brings along, Diablo Immortal is a controversial yet highly anticipated title to keep on your watchlist in Q4 2020.
